ActiveDocs Opus Multi-Language Support

Centralizing systems in a multi-language environment can be a challenge and not all businesses have the same requirements. ActiveDocs Opus provides the ability to both automate documents in different languages, and to design templates in the language of choice. This capability significantly enhances the ability of global companies to control critical content and ensure that corporate documents can be created in the language of choice for customers or employees.

ActiveDocs Opus can provide the following:

The ability for an individual proficient in one language (e.g. English) to create documents using the ActiveDocs Opus Document Wizard in another language (e.g. Chinese)
The ability to design and automate templates in any language
The ability to configure the ActiveDocs Opus Express Wizard and Document Wizard to use a different language dependent on which ActiveDocs Opus Composition Server subsite a user is accessing
The ability to configure ActiveDocs Opus Designer in any supported language

Example

This example illustrates how the multi-language capabilities of ActiveDocs Opus can be utilized to enable an organization true multi-national deployment of their HR documents which are consistent and compliant with corporate and local government guidelines.

The company has a centralized HR office in each geographical region which is responsible for generating all HR documentation for that area. This involves creating documents in a variety of languages. The company’s requirement was to have an English speaking user who is responsible for the Asia-Pacific region, generate Employment Contracts and associated HR documentation in English, Chinese or Japanese.

By utilizing the multi-language capabilities of ActiveDocs Opus, the Document Wizard questions can be presented to the user in English. The user is able to select information, such as the Job Title, from a Data View which is in English but ActiveDocs Opus actually captures their answer in the relevant language. Upon completion of the Document Wizard, the final document is compiled and the result is a document rendered in the required language.
